Rescue / Education / Conservation
A home for bears.
A place to learn.
Co-founded by Casey Anderson, Montana Grizzly Encounter provides a home for rescued grizzly bears that cannot return to the wild.

Understanding begins
with connection.
The sanctuary’s work combines lifelong care for rescued bears with public education. Visitors can learn about grizzly behavior, conservation and living alongside wildlife.
Some resident bears were orphaned, became dependent on people or came from inadequate captive situations. A suitable home and ongoing care are essential for these animals.
